subject line is from someone who i also am having same problem with. here is link:

in my case, my cache folders filled up so much hosting deactivated my account. why isn't folder removing cache content? i am using most recent upgrade. what is weird is it is only happening on 3 or 4 wp blogs on my account and not all 12 blogs. they all have exact same configs.

You seem to have enabled file based objects and database caching.
    Disable them.

    - If you are on shared hosting they give you the problems you are experiencing while NOT providing much benefit in terms of speed.

    - If you are on dedicated or VPS hosting you just use APC / XCache + memcache and forget about them.
