    If you deactivated and deleted this plugin, then it won’t be stopping emails from being sent.

    However: it’s pretty common for emails sent to not be received. You should test to see whether emails are being sent successfully. I’d install an email logger like Log Emails or Email Log, then one of the email test plugins.

    A common problem is that the sender domain has SPF and the website isn’t included in the SPF record. You should check your domain name to see if it has SPF and fix the DNS record to include your website if that’s the case. Popular email services like Gmail will block emails from websites because of this mistake.

    You can easily check for an SPF record from a command line, like this (use your domain name):

    nslookup -type=TXT
