Support » Theme: Ascend » Re-position sub-indicator in menu

    Is there a CSS selector that can be targeted to change the position of the menu sub-indicator? By default when the option to show the sub-indicator is set to On the sub-indicator is positioned to the right and above the associated menu text, pushing the menu text down. This is acceptable if all menu items have associated sub-menus as the menu texts are horizontally aligned, but if some menu items do not have sub-menus then the menu items look a bit weird, with some lower than the others.

    In the Pinnacle theme for example the sub-menu indicator is to the right of the menu text and in line with it. This makes for an attractive menu display even with a mixture of sub-menu and non-sub-menu menu items.

    I’d rather persevere with the Ascend theme if possible as the range of configuration options is quite impressive, and overall it’s a really nice theme.

    Thanks for your help.

    Try adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Custom CSS:

    .second-navclass .sf-menu > li > a {
        line-height: 25px;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Dear Hannah

    Thank you very much. Your custom css fixes the issue if the line-height property value is marked as !important.

    Great support that is much appreciated.
