Re-installing on a new server without SSL certificates

    I am going to have to move a number of WordPress installs from a server where I have free SSL certificates, to a server where I won’t have that option available, so no SSL.

    Should I change the settings on my current WordPress installs from https to just http before I create the back ups that I will use to install the forums on the new server, or will it not matter? I just want the move to go as smoothly as possible!

    Any advice gratefully received!
