• Ok, I wrote earlier about how after the upgrade my site (http://foodielicious.net) was not working properly. Since this problem was ONLY happening on the site that I upgraded from 1.something to 2.3.2, and not on the site that went from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2, I figured it had to be something in the upgrade.

So, I uninstalled WP completely. I made a backup of the DB, I deleted the db and then deleted all the files via ftp.

Then, I reinstalled WP using my host’s EasyApps console (when I originally installed WP on Foodielicious, WP was not part of our EasyApps, so it was a manual install.) I followed the instructions for restoring the database from backup.

The problem: the posts are there, I can see them in the “manage” area and they appear in the sidebar. However, they do NOT appear in the content field; I get a 404 there. And, although I have selected the option for the blog to appear on the root directory, and also copied the index and .htaccess files there, the home page is blank.

    Any ideas?

Well, after trying again and again at this, I gave up, exported my posts and comments in an xml file, and AGAIN made a clean install. The install is of 2.3.1, but I’ll be upgrading…

And now the damn thing won’t work… I’ve selected for the blog to display on the main page, but all I get there is a blank. This is a clean install with nothing imported, and I cannot figure out the problem.

Looks like your are up and running.
