# ratings breaking

 * Hi,
 * I only use the plugin for comments and lately the ratings are not appearing correctly.
 * When I wipe the plugin back to default they reappear, and I am able to then disable
   ratings for posts and pages but if I edit the comment system in any way it breaks.(
   like change it to arrows 1 like I want or position it at bottom right)
 * Even setting it back to the default thumbs remains broken and I have to reset
   the plugin again. Any ideas?

 * Hi [@nerin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nerin/), please try to go to 
   the ratings settings page in the admin’s dashboard, clean/flush the cache (on
   Chrome use Ctrl+Shift+R). After cached is cleaned, modify the comment theme as
   you need and try to save again. Let me know if that worked.
