    Hi.
Would I be possible for the visitors to rate the recipe without having to make a comment?

Right now a lot of comment with ratings is needed. Other recipe plug-ins allows user to rate just by clicking the stars (only one rating per ip). This would increase the user interaction as more users would like the recipes.

    Best wishes.

User ratings like that are on or todo list for the Premium add-on.

Would it be possible to disable the rating in the free plugin? Then I could use my “usual” post-rating system, which I now have disable for recipes?

    Best.

Is there a way to disable the rating – it should have said.

Comment Ratings can be disabled on the WP Recipe Maker > Settings > Features page.

But the problem with using your own solution is that those ratings will not be part of the recipe metadata, so they won’t show up in your rich snippets.

    Thanks Brecht.
I guess i’ll settle with the current solution 🙂

    Hello Brecht!

Has there been any update on this “todo”? Can the readers leave ratings without commenting?

User Ratings are planned for the next update of the Premium plugin. I can’t be more specific at the moment but I will post in this topic when it’s available.

    Thanks! Eagerly waiting for that

    Hi again,

I wanted to let you know that we just released WP Recipe Maker Premium 1.6.0 which includes this user ratings feature. There is an example over here:

    Kind regards,
