• Hi there,

we switched to Thrive Theme Builder this week and now the rating is not visible anymore.

Interesting: In Theme Edit Mode it is visible.

    What should I do?

    Hi,

The page you linked is completely broken for me, but it doesn’t contain any trace of my plugin being active.

My plugin has 3 ways for adding ratings into the content: using shortcodes, using plugin function in theme template (PHP knowledge required), and automatically into post content. That last method depends on the WordPress page structure that involves post loop and the_content filter that all themes should be using. My guess is that the theme builder you use doesn’t follow the WordPress loop specifications, and if that is the case, you can use shortcodes or PHP functions instead.

    Regards,
    Milan

    Thank you, Milan.

You may see a cached version, I can see it correctly.

I tried the shortcode now – without success.

Please have a new look at the source code:

The page is still quite broken. But, as I said, my plugin can automatically insert a rating block only if the theme follows WordPress specs for the posts loop and uses the_content filter. If that is not the case, use a shortcode or PHP function. If the shortcode is not working in all cases, that too is the problem with the theme. My plugin depends on getting information from WordPress if the theme breaks that, I can’t do much. In such a case, PHP function is the only valid option, and you need to provide exact ID’s for the post to make it work, which again, depends on how the theme renders pages. I have tested the plugin with various builders, without issues, I can test with Thrive Theme Builder if I get some free time to see why it behaves as it does.
