    We added your plugin to all our clients WP Sites and you are displaying a “Rate my plugin” message at the top of every page. This message will not go away, no matter what link we click. I understand that having these in a free app is good for you – I get that, but making it so that’s it’s persistent is not acceptable!

    I need this fixed asap, or I will instruct all my clients to actually Rate the Plugin, BUT with a 1-star rating for the fact that your message is broken! Then I will remove it myself…

    I hate being this harsh, but you guys need to make sure your Self-promoting Marketing Messages are functional before releasing updates!

    Sorry for the inconvenience. You can use these filters to disable all notices completely by adding it to the theme’s functions.php file:

    add_filter( 'lmt_plugin_show_sticky_notice', '__return_true' );
    add_filter( 'lmt_plugin_show_sticky_donate_notice', '__return_true' );

    So this is not going to work as we j=have installed in several hundred sites. A few sites, I am able to get it to go away, but for most, it is not. I need you to fix your code so that:
    A) It does not show on every fricking admin page!
    B) When clicked it actually disappears.

    Please fix ASAP!

    That having been said, while your clients are allowed to rate a plugin, we have certain expectations for behaviour on these forums. One of the behaviours that is not acceptable is to create a tit-for-tat (“if you don’t do this then I will do this”). Please keep it polite, even when frustrated.

    The problem is that when you, me or my clients click any of the links to deactivate the notice, it does not go away – it’s permanent!

    Just to be clear, I am not in any way affiliated with the plugin or its author.

    You have been provided with the appropriate remedy.
    Please make use of it.
    Further discussion on the matter is not productive.

    As noted, you’ve already notified the plugin authors and it’s been suggested you email the plugins team. There’s nothing more that can be done here. If you don’t hear back from the plugin authors, consider choosing another plugin.
