There are two parts here:
1. Hustle (or any other plugin for that matter) does not know who you are – we don’t track this kind of data so there is no way for the plugin to know that you’ve already rated it. The thanks we post are entirely personal – it’s our team who keeps an eye on those and thanks each person separately for the feedback.
In this case, simply dismissing the message is the way to go.
2. However, it has recently come to our attention that there may be an issue sometimes with dismissing the rating request – if that’s what’s happening for you, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience! Our team has already prepared a fix for this and we’re going to make it available in an upcoming update.

sorry to say that the banner is still appearing even though I
– clicked on “no thanks”,
– cleared cache,
– closed WP.

Could you try to clear the browser cache too?
In case the issue persists, please, let us know the WordPress version that you are using and we can try to replicate the issue again, we got confirmation from some other cases that it worked fine in the latest version.
