Using the pro version I have an issue with the functionality of the Rate + Exchange Fee in general settings

Our company is Irish with PayPal denominated in Euros. The plugin lets me use a hidden default currency so that’s Colombian pesos. Perfect.

PayPal charges a % for non Euro. This turns out to be 4-5% on average. So I want to add 4% to the fee for the other currencies.

Turns out this is a fixed figure which is not ideal for live currency conversions. However there is another problem.

    1 COP = 0.00040 AUD

4% of that is 0.000016. This figure is outside of the range that can be entered in the settings. Is there a way of entering these fees as a percentage?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @colombiamark

    Thank you for contacting VillaTheme.
    1. Can you check again, that figure for example 0.000016 can still enter in the settings https://prnt.sc/sogv43

    2. Unfortunately, the plugin is designed to enter a specific value (the percentage format is unavailable now)

    Best regards

Thanks mivtt. I am not trying to enter it in that field as shown in your screen capture.

That field correctly populates automatically with the exchange rate. I am trying to enter the fee which would be 0.000016 as the value (that is 4% of 0.00040). However because it is such a tiny amount I get the error message “Please enter a valid value. The two nearest values are 0 and 0.0001”

if 1 COP = 0.00040 AUD then in this example 0.0001 as the smallest value I can use represents a fee of 25%

So how can I add a smaller fee?
