Support » Plugin: WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache » RankMath plugin and sitemap_index.xml gets cached

  • Hi.

I am facing a weird issue. I have installed RankMath SEO plugin (Yoast has been disabled) and after Rankmath generated a new sitemap_index.xml file, it gets cached whatever I do prevent it. I explicitly order not to cache in your plugin settings(checkbox) and added it to the text fields to prevent it from being cached, but it does not help. The weird part is, that sitemap_index.xml generated by Yoast gets bypass status. I ended up adding a custom page rule to bypass that file. Any idea, what is causing this?

    Thank you.
    Alex

    Hi @asterix30 ,
what web server are you using? ’cause the plugin adds into the htaccess a set of rules used to bypass the cache for XML files. Can you please paste it here?

I tried to find an issue within my server’s nginx configs, but there us none, because xml are explicitly excluded from any caching. The server itself does not cache anything, because this is done by your plugins fallback cache. And as I said before, it was working well with yoast and its sitemap files. So, I have no idea what could cause this issue on my side.
