• First of all, thank you for this plugin. You have done an excellent job with this, and I have already replace Cubepoints with your plugin and am enjoying it more.

I just noticed that the Ranks are not being parsed under the myCreds History. I do see ranks in the widget though. Also, when I use the shortcode [mycred_history number=”20″], I see the points but not rank.

Glad to hear your enjoying the plugin. I will have a look at it first thing in the morning.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Another point. This is a feature request really, and I do not know how feasible this would be, but I would love to be able to define which products in WooCommerce qualify for purchase using myCRED points. Our online store also features affiliate products, who are in it to make money. So as things stand, they would not be happy to know their products were paid for with anything other than hardcore cash. So if I can define per individual product whether it qaulifies for checkout with myCRED points, that would be the perfect solution.

Interesting idea. I will have to look into it. The thing is, as far as WooCommerce’s concern, myCRED is nothing but a payment gateway. I guess we could check the cart to see if there is any items that qualify for “myCRED payment” but what if other items are in the cart? I have limited experience with WooCommerce so I am not sure if you can make “partial payments” (pay for some items in cart but not all). I would need to investigate.

So I had a look at your question regarding ranks.

The mycred_history has nothing to do with a users ranking. It just shows results from the Log. There is the mycred_leaderboard shortcode which shows users according to their rank.

Are you looking to show a users rank using a shortcode? If you are, I could add that feature in.

    Gabriel

I used the shortcode [mycred_history number=”20″], and from that expect to see the myCRED history for the logged in client. I do see the points history in the following format

    May 5, 2013 04:58 HAZPoints Balance: 5.00 | Ranking: Testing

    .

AS you can see, there is nothing showing in the Rank field (Ranking) which is empty. So the shortcode already seems to be designed to display this, except the actual rank does not show up. WHen I look at myCRED through the widget though, I do see the rank on the header, but not in the history logs:

    HAZPoints Balance: 5.00 | Ranking: #1

    1. Testing HAZPoints Balance: 5.00 | Ranking:

Thats because I never built the mycred_history shortcode to include ranking. I assume you are using the latest version of the plugin?

Version 1.0.5. I guess then the “Rank:” field marker needs to be removed because it is being called using the shortcode, even though the actual rank itself does not display. Makes things look a bit messy. So it is better to completely remove any reference to Ranks in the History logs, or to show the rank.

Ok, I just figured out what’s going on. In the settings, under “Presentation” i entered into the “Prefix Field” what it is I want to call my points (HAZPoints Balance). In the Suffix field, I entered what I wanted to have shown before the actual ranking (Rank:) So this works ok for the widget first line. But for the History log, this suffix entry is still called, and since you designed the history logs not so show ranks, nothing is shown after the suffix field. So I have removed it and that resolves this I think.

Very odd. Could you contact me by email where I could see this? I cant find any use of the word “Rank:” or “Testing”.

In the widget you can adjust how you want to display the rank. By default it is #%rank%. You could change this to Rank: %rank%

    That works perfectly. Thanks.
