Hi @wordpressto
As I let you know through email, your issue looks that comes from a caching plugin that is caching the new created types
GamiPress types (points types, achievement types and rank types) are all standard WordPress Custom Post Types (CPT) and as standard CPT it could be cached and managed by external plugins
A good way to find which plugin is causing the conflict is deactivating all plugins (except GamiPress) one-by-one and check if issue disappears
Also, if you find the plugin that is causing the issue report it to the author and if you can, please, let us know
Best regards
Did the trouble shooting as you recommended
It was not the cache
We tried deleting and disabling cache plugins. We even switched themes and tested.
We have narrowed it down to the USER ROLE EDITOR Plugin.
Gamipress Menu doesn’t seem to like the fact that URE assigns an access level to the custom posts.
The custom posts could not even be viewed it we manually type it in the URL. (it was giving ” you do not have access” error). This was how I got suspicious it might have to do something with URE plugin, and my hunch seemed to be right.
Maybe you should consider doing some testing on your own with User Role Editor plugin and release a patch.
We will send you a support email If this starts misbehaving again.
Again, Thanks for a WONDERFUL PLUGIN !
Hi @wordpressto
Awesome you finally got the issue fixed
We aren’t using the User Role Editor plugin for that we never get noticed about this
The most recommended way is you should let it know to the User Role Editor plugin author in order to let them know the issue since as administrator, you should have access to everything by default
Best regards
