  • I have been using this plugin for about a year and it was working fine.

    After the most recent update, some of my members get stuck in a loop back to the login page even after logging in.

    My homepage is restricted for logged in members only. If the user isn’t logged in its set to redirect to the login page.

    Sometimes when the user logins in, the page will continually refresh back to the login page, without the login form, and showing the user account links, despite ALREADY being logged in, the homepage is not accesible. The menu link and logo are clickable, but they redirect back to the login page.

    I have a test account from when I first created the site, the test account works fine, I have a new test account that I have created after the most recent update, and it will not get past the login loop. The roles, settings, everything are identical. What is the issue?

    Some members can login fine with no loop, others login and get stuck at the login page loop.They have the same roles, and settings.

    I have spent the last 3 days pulling my hair out trying to fix this for a client and am extremely annoyed, discouraged, and disappointed. I have spent 25 hours troubleshooting this.

    I seen lots of other people with a similar issue and there is never a resolution.

    Help? Anyone??…

    We are sorry that you encountered problems while using our plugin.

    1. Please check the predefined pages settings on the wp-admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > General. Please make sure that there is not set the same page for multiple settings.

    2. Please check maybe the users have multiple roles not only WordPress role but Ultimate Member role too. It’s the backward compatibility for customers that started using Ultimate Member before 2.0.x version.     3. Please avoid using cache on the login/registration/profile pages. It can be the reason for the issue too.
