Yes, it’s by design, sections are pretty dynamic, never thought people would want to style a certain section from a certain landing page (outside admin area). Anyway, I’ve checked the code and it seems I can implement static ID’s (will be dynamically created but won’t change – unless you remove the section).
I will implement this on Moday for both Lite and Pro version.

I’ve updated it on my website also, please log in and re-download the package. Also please note that I upgraded the pro version to 2.1 since the lite version’s versioning number was to 2.0, WP was automatically upgrading the pro version to the lite version.

I’m having the same issue… I tried downloading/re-installing 2.1 from Envato where I purchased but am still getting randomized id’s.
Also – the basecamp styles are over-riding/messing up the styles on the rest of my site. Is it possible to have them load only onto the pages where they are needed?

Are you sure you have the latest version? I just download the plugin from CC (just to make sure), I tested it out and the static ID’s are working just fine (they don’t change) – this is how it looks http://share.pho.to/7Uf0z . Once a post is saved each slide has an ID that starts with “gravityslide” followed by a number.

I have updated to 2.1 as well (had purchased from your website in the Landix Package) I can also confirm the same issue as dmy0851 – I am still getting the randomized ID’s.
