Looking to see if anyone else has found a Plugin for this:
The perfect solution I am looking for would be a sidebar area where if I dragged in a widget into a sidebar area it would randomly pull a widget with each load of the page.
This would provide a UI interface and the ability to remove and save inactive widgets.
But at the least and very basic would be a randomizer of static content that we can use in the sidebar.
Seen a couple quote plugins that would do this but most I know of have stopped development or buggy as hell…
You might checkout the Query Posts plugin.
This may not solve your issue–I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to do–but this could provide a new strategy around your problem.
If you are just looking to have text randomly display there is the Random Text widget: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/randomtext/screenshots/
I have not tried the plugin myself and have no affiliation with the developer.
Hey Mark and Rachel

I really appreciate it. I’ll give it a try Random Text plugin a try and see if it does the trick!
