# Random white line

 * Good morning,
 * We’ve recently taken on a web site for someone. The original developer, I think,
   used an existing WP theme and heavily modified it. We’ve since been asked to 
   go in and clear up the mess!
 * There is one thing that I am struggling with and I was hoping that you may be
   able to help me.
 * On the home page of [http://www.makemesparkle.co](http://www.makemesparkle.co),
   under the testimonials, there is a ‘READ MORE’ box and going through this is 
   a white line, that spans across the page. Can anyone tell me where this is coming
   from and how I can get rid of it please?

 * Can you take a screenshot of what you’re seeing and post it to a place like [Imgur](http://imgur.com/)?
   I don’t see a white line through the Testimonials section on Safari, Firefox,
   or Chrome on Mac OS X Mavericks.

 * Do you see the line in other browsers? Do you see the line if all of your plugins
   are temporarily disabled?
 * I saw the line once, but then I accidentally closed the browser window and when
   I loaded your site again, I didn’t see the line.

 * I see it on Chrome and Safari. The person who owns the site also sees it, although
   I don’t know what browser she uses.
 * It’s a tricky one. I was hoping it was some code in the page code, but it doesn’t
   appear to be. I’m fairly new to WP so struggling with this one, just trying to
   help the lady out.

 * Ok, a bit of an update. I’ve been having a play around and at the bottom of the
   page is this line of code
 * `<div class="readmore-testimonial"><a href="http://www.makemesparkle.co/testimonial/"
   >READ MORE</a></div>`
 * If I remove that, the ‘READ MORE’ box disappears, as I would expect, but so does
   the white line going across the page.

 * The white line that you see there has got nothing to do with the ‘READ MORE’ 
   anchor. It is a part of the background image that you’ve applied to ‘_.home-test-
   bg_‘. The background image seems to have a white border in the bottom.
