Random SQL/DB Error

  • Recently I went to the URL of my weblog and this error showed up. I hadn’t changed anything, all I did was post and it came up. Can anyone help me out? :/
    SQL/DB Error:
    [Got error 28 from table handler]
    SELECT DISTINCT * FROM wordp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date <= ‘2004-02-23 20:18:33’ AND (post_status = “publish”) GROUP BY wordp_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 20
    Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.

  • What does “Got error 28 from table handler” mean?
    It means that your hard disk is full (probably in your MySQL database but it could be elsewhere and interfering with the free running of your database)

    Oh… thank you.

    This same thing msql error 28 just happened to me tonight. I was shocked since I had not changed a thing. My host (PagesGarden.com) responded very quickly and said that I could use the msql “repair” utility in the cPanel to fix the problem.

    …Just thought I’d pass along the word for any cPanel-enabled hosting users.
