# Random Posts Not Random!

 * Hi people.
 * This is my first post on the support forums, I hope I don’t break any rules! 
   Forgive me if I do!
 * I have a new start up project. It has been going extremely well.
 * As you will see from [http://www.workrebels.com](http://workrebels.com) I have
   used a theme by [Elegant Themes ](http://www.elegantthemes.com) which provides
   a Random Posts Slide on the top right of the page.
 * Unfortunately, the Random Post slide is not random any more:( I have contacted
   the theme designer and he said it is a WP Function problem.
 * Has anyone got any ideas on how to make it random again. All help will be appreciated
   greatly.

 * Not sure what plugin you are using, but Rob Marsh’s plugins are pretty solid 
   and highly configurable, so check out:

 * Thanks for the help MichaelH, but I’d rather try to fix the current problem rather
   than just replacing it.

 * Would I be able to post a link to download, as it’s a premium theme which is 
   paid for, and I don’t want to give it away.
 * Would it be a problem with other plugins or anything else I’ve put on the site?
