# Random Posts

 * I’m using this plugin and I would like to make the posts random.
 * I have tried every combination of order and orderby I can think of.
 * Please help.

 * Hmm, is `orderby="rand"` not working? I’ve just tested it, and it seems to be
   doing the job. Oh, I see it’s not in the documentation, so I’ll add it for the
   next update.
 * Please let me know if `orderby="rand"` works – if not, I’ll look into it further.

 * It doesn’t seem to be working but I may have the shortcode wrong because now 
   its pulling all categories up.
 * here is what I have
 * [loop type=”post” category=”cabin-rentals” order=”title” orderby=”rand”]
    [content][/
   loop]

 * Hm, it could be the combination with `order="title"`. Since the order is randomized,
   you can remove that parameter – perhaps that will work?
