Hi.. Wondered if anyone had any suggestions on incorporating random images in the 'header' section of WP2 ie. A different image appears in the 'header' of every page accessed.
    Thanx in anticipation.

  2. Random header plugin:

I use it on WP 1.5.2, comments on the page suggest it's fine with WP2.

Thanks alot Les. I've just installed this. I have tried it on the default theme and got it to work (but only just...as the drop-down list on the 'add image' only shows the first character of the file name ?). In my current theme, not the default, the image drop-down list doesn't show anything. (I have checked the images are in the theme/images folder by the way). Any suggestions?

Update: I've now got the image file name appearing in the drop-down list using my current theme... but still only the first two characters of the filename (wierd). The images I select and add are appearing randomly on the pages ... so some progress.
To Les: Keep watching those scales buddy... my wife lost 4 stone this year...it can be done!.

So, it's still not working, well there is two ways to move on: Wait to get someone who knows the plugin well enough to get it to work , or you can just modify the theme file to randomly display the image. I can help with the latter of the two.

Okay, what you want to do is open up, or use WordPress's theme editor to edit the themes header.php file. After you've done either one, replace it's content with the content from here. Edit the image url's and then save, and if needed, upload. Tell me if this works.
