• I am not sure what is going on or where to get help, so I thought I would ask here.

Each day several images are being deleted from my Uploads folder.

    Random image sizes disappear.

Every morning I check my site to find a handful of front page images are broken and I have to re-upload the files.

It doesn’t appear to be a theme issue. I have tested that.

It doesn’t appear to be a plugin issue, as I have disabled all plugins.

I have checked for malware, nothing.

What could be randomly deleting images?

Yes, done that. Server antivirus/spam checker says no problems.

Sounds strange, How do you re-upload the files through media library or via ftp?

They are uploaded through the media library. The original files and the various sizes created by WordPress remain OK.

What is deleted is the specific size created for the blog post featured image.

Can you share the live url?. You have any cache plugins enabled. If the media exists in the media library then this might be some issues with the theme.

No I have removed cache plugins completely, not just deactivated. Plus I have removed the cache folder. The media is deleted from the media folder. But I am not deleting it….!
