Random Header Plug-In?

  • I’ve tried three plug-ins to randomly insert a different top.jpg banner into Connections theme running under WP 2.0.2. Despite my best efforts, none have worked. Any ideas?

    I’ve tried:
    Randomize
    Random Header
    Rotate

  • I use rotator on my site, it does the job well

    John.

    Neat! It works well when calling it directly using my browser. How do I put it in my code?

    In the theme CSS stylesheet it now calls for the banner as:

    #header {
    background:#fff url(img/top.jpg) no-repeat bottom;

    How would this work using the rotater script?

    <img src=”http://example.com/rotate.php”>

    thanks, Dan

    is top.jpg your current header?

    just change it to point to rotator.php

    eg. if you just dropped the rotator.php into the img folder…

    #header {
    background:#fff url(img/rotator.php) no-repeat bottom;

    does that work?

    Excellent! Works perfectly. I owe you one. 🙂
