  • Hi,

As you are creating this on a localhost I suppose you do not have some caching and/or minification plugin going on?

If so, this kind of strange messed up pages, could very well be the result of minification or grouping of CSS/javascripts.

The best way to determine what is causing this is to deactivate all your plugins and see if the issue is gone. If so start activating plugins one by one until it happens again. At that point you will know what causes the conflict. If that plugin is not absolutely neccessary, get rid of it or contact the developer and ask for help.

If you have custom code added too, remove that to exclude conflicts there.

Hope this helps solving your problem,

Thank you so much. Took me a while to give some feedback on your suggestions.
So I did what you suggested…and the only plugin when disabled that got rid of the grey shapes was WooCommerce, which did not make a lot sense to me.

At one point, I thought an active WordPress Slider Soliloquy Lite plugin was the problem but another page without the slider still showed the grey shapes.

Finally, I figured perhaps it was something with the way I am formatting the pictures for the product category page.

I edited the code on the product category page under the Text tab:

    [product_category category="necklaces" per_page="12" columns="4" orderby="price" order="asc"]

deleted the instances “code” in brackets, it appears these were the culprits.

I guess if I was a coder I would have known better.

Thank you so much for your help.

    Glad you found the culprit!
Finding it can be a pain, tell me about it haha.
