Random excerpt plugin help?!

    I’ve succesfully uploaded my plugin and activated it… the only problem is I’m having problems with the code that inserts the random excerpt into my template (I want it on the sidebar)

    my code right now works (I checked index) but the only thing it’s display is a link, without text, so basically, it’s just a space.
