We corrected the usernames, passwords, and so forth, but within the past week, some new things have appeared. * Specifically in the header area, the text 404 or 502 appears, with a sometimes randomized error below it, usually relating to a database, such as right now –( 1146, “Table ‘roma.book_db_child_table’ doesn’t exist”). * Is this a know hack or malware that has gone around and how can we go about finding the infected files? Does it belong to your site? It’s not standard WordPress table, but some WordPress plugins do create their own tables. * I’m basically trying to determine if that table should be there or not. If it shouldn’t, that’s definitely a concern. If it should, then it could be as simple as a logical error, i.e., a plugin is making an assumption that a table exists( before it has been created, for example). * If you don’t know what that table is, it’s best to start with a clean site. If it is, I’ll turn it off and check that. * As for the **roma.book_db_child_table**, I’m not familiar with that at all. I plan on starting clean over the next few days, so I appreciate your help with that. * A quick google search for that table name brings up tons of sites with that at the top as well.
