    Hi,

    On 30.09.2019 my client suddenly had 2 orders come through only minutes apart, that both had an item in the cart discounted for its full value. The items are not the same, there are no coupons setup for a discount of this nature nor were there any discount rules setup. The persons placing the orders are also returning customers, so nothing suspect there. With both orders oddly enough however, the payment failed.

    Is there any way for me to see how/why/what caused those discounts to be applied?

    Hi there,

    Please share your system report. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it.

    If a coupon was used, you would see the coupon code in the order like this screenshot – https://cld.wthms.co/JIudRk

    If not, check if you have a plugin which is providing discounts, possibly based on the product or customer.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback. It appears to have been a random occurrence as we have not been able to find the reason for the discount. Am keeping an eye on it and will only really be able to follow-up if it happens again.
