    It’s not 100%, but I got it up. Finally.

    First time ever using wordpress, or actually installing any blog tool. Love it.

    I have a few questions if you don’t mind .. I would like the date to say “Thursday, March 10th, 2005” .. and how do I get rid of the space under the title of the entry and my actual entry? I simply don’t see any tag in wp.php to that is causing that. Thanks!

  • <?php the_time(‘l, F jS, Y’) ?>

    will say the date in the format you’re looking for.

    Also, the space isn’t in you php files, it’s in your style.css file. Check your padding for anything like .title or .post

    Got the date. Thanks.

    Can’t seem to nitch the padding though.

    i’m looking at your source code and you don’t seem to be labeling anything. Try posting your code that you’re using for your index.php file. Did you create this template from scratch yourself or did you get it from somewhere?

    hmm, i get what you’re actually trying to do with your site…you’re just using wordpress to post the content of your posts and nothing else correct?

    Yeah, I used SSI to put the content of my blog onto my site.

    My actual index is:

    <!–#include virtual=”/left.shtml”–>

    <td valign=”top” BGCOLOR=”2C2C2C” background=”/img/bg1.jpg” width=”454″ height=”400″><font class=”text”>

    <BR>

    <!–#include virtual=”/wp.php”–>

    </center>
    </td>
    <!–#include virtual=”/right.shtml”–>

    heh, if i new SSI, i could help you, but unfortunately I don’t. Sorry
