For instance, with Buddy Press pages, both left and right columns are both on top:

http://kaiserthegreat.com/wordpress/groups/
http://kaiserthegreat.com/wordpress/members/
Whereas the standard blog pages, the main content it lower than the sidebar:

Can’t figure out what’s controlling the padding on the content side of the theme.
I think maybe I stupidly left my site in maintenance mode when posting those links. Should work now.
Hi kaiserthegreat
I came with this:
put this code to your Child Theme style.css file
OR
Install Simple Custom CSS plugin and put the code there.
I’m doing this on my testing server.
It can get to some different behavior then here on my site.
It can happen that it is not working.
Then we have to look further.
main#main {
margin-top: -80px;
}
main#main {
margin-top: -80px!important;
}
Let me know.
Cheers

Hi kaiserthegreat,
I was in the rush last time, I took another look and I think this should be OK:
Take away my first suggestion.!!!!……AND:
put this code to your Child Theme style.css file
OR
Install Simple Custom CSS plugin and put the code there.
I’m doing this on my testing server.
It can get to some different behavior then here on my site.
It can happen that it is not working.
Then we have to look further.
.site-main {
padding-top: 0px;
}
.buddypress main {
padding-top: 0px;
}
or
.site-main {
padding-top: 0px!important;
}
.buddypress main {
padding-top: 0px!important;
}
So I hope you will get what you would like to see.
Let me know how it worked out.
Need so more help? ASK 🙂
Cheers
