Currently checking out your plugin as it looks promising and has functionality I need.
But I ran into a small issue. I have a required, exclusive checkbox, but it does not validate in a multistep form.
I also tried radio buttons, but both with checkboxes or radio buttons not selected, I can proceed to the next step while I expect an error that the field is not chosen.
Of course I can work a round it by using a drop-down, but I really prefer radio buttons or checkboxes for certain questions in my form.
Thank you for raising the issue. Can you confirm you have made the Checkbox/radio buttons required and none of them are pre-selected?
Yes, I have made the checkbox required and nothing is preselected.
As for the radio buttons, they are required by default.
According to CF7 website:
radio represents a group of radio buttons (<input type=”radio”> in HTML). Because a group of radio buttons is naturally required, a radio form-tag works as a required field. It is advised to preselect an option in a radio button group using the default:1 option.
Yes. As the radio buttons are already “Pre-Selected”, Multistep form will always consider these as “selected”, so it will go to next stage.
As for the checkboxes, if they are required, then user should see an error before going to next step.

I did receive a confirmation on the feature request, but not on the support ticket.
Might be intentional, or I might have made a typo in my email address…

Can you confirm when you opened the ticket? Sorry if we missed but today is basically our offday.
Just before the feature request. I justed wondered why I got a confirmation of one ticket and not the other.
So about 15 minutes ago. Just verifying if it was added to your system or not.
I can re-enter the ticket if needed.
