    Interesting. It looks like the <cite> tag is being removed entirely. I will look into this.

    Since developers use <cite> kind of inconsistently, handling them is kind of tricky, but I think you’re right, the plugin shouldn’t eliminate the tag.

    I think the new version I just pushed should resolve the issue you were having. Give it a try and let me know if you have any issues.
