  • Hi PsychoBononia,

Thank you for using this plugin!

We are sorry you are experiencing this issue. Could we have a link to your quiz?

I took a look at the links you provided and it looks like your theme is doing a lot of stuff to the CSS and that might be the issue. How long have you had the theme enabled? Lets try a few troubleshooting techniques:

    1. Switch to the default theme such as Twenty Fifteen, does your problem still persist?
    2. De-activate all other plugins, does your problem still persist? If that solves the problem, re-activate your plugins one at a time and test if the problem re-appears. If so, let us know which plugin caused it.

    3. Try switching to another browser. Does your problem still persist?

I already tried another browser and to deactivate all other plugins, but nothing. But switching to Twenty Fifteen the quiz does appear, so the problem is with my theme, MH Purity Lite. I recently updated it, likely this is a problem due to this update, since previously the quizzes work well.

Now, it’s a problem for me to change my theme, so I would like to know the source of the conflict…

    Hi PsychoBononia,

We haven’t quite narrowed down the conflict yet but could you turn off pagination to see if that fixes the issue? We just need to narrow down the possible functions that could be causing an issue.

I tried to turn off pagination but I don’t figured out how can I do that. There is no a specific option to accomplish that in MH Purity theme. I could do that writing a piece of code, but don’t know the procedure. Maybe can I try to downgrade the theme?

    Greetings Psycho Bononia:

Thank you for choosing to use this plugin. When we say turn off pagination, we meant to turn it off in the quiz. You can do so by editing your quiz and going to the options tab. Once there, simply set the “How many questions per page” to 0. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Ah ok, sorry. I turned off pagination and now it works, as you can see from this link:

So, is the pagination the problem. I wonder why…

Thanks for your support. I solved turning off pagination, for now. Maybe future updates will solve the problem.

Same issue here, turning off the pagination did the trick indeed. Thanks for the quick temporary fix.

Most of the bugs that were causing the pagination not working issue have been fixed. Are you currently using the most current version of the plugin which is 4.5.3? When your pagination is turned on, do you receive any errors? Are you familiar with the accessing the JavaScript console in your brower? If so, can you check if there are any errors in the console when pagination is turned on?

Lastly, can you create a test quiz with pagination that is turned on that you can leave up for a little while for us to take a look at and debug?

Hello Frank, we use indeed the latest version 4.5.3. You can see an example at https://www.pcgcare.eu/my-toolbox/pre-assessment-form-to-be-used-by-trainers/ (registration is required) where we set the pagination to 0, as otherwise it was not appearing. This quiz was made before the update to 4.5.3.

We set up a new testpage with a quiz now at https://www.pcgcare.eu/test-page-quiz/ (no registration needed) where pagination is set at 10 with 30 random questions out of 181. Here however the quiz is displayed. So not sure what is causing this random issue.
It seems all new quizzes set up after the update yesterday do not have this issue related to pagination (see also https://www.pcgcare.eu/test-page-2-quiz/), but all existing ones have.

A solution we found is to duplicate the existing questionnaires, this solved the issue.

However, in all cases pagination is not working.

    Regards, Karel

Same issue here, it is very important to fix it, can you help ?

    Hey @karel772

I haven’t been able to recreate this issue on my test site. I looked at your provided quizzes and none of them appear to have easily diagnosed errors. Can you turn the pagination back on for the test quiz so I can see it that way please? Test quiz: https://www.pcgcare.eu/test-page-quiz/
