    Two things stopped me using this (sorry if something was wrong with my installation)

    1) Its extremely outdated in design. I dont mind so much, as we will add our own custom designed. But I went to upload a document and it was a plain old fashioned Upload button and I could only upload 1 file. That would be quite a nightmare uploading hundreds. It really needs some multiple file AJAX uploader.

    2) I would have thought the site Admin could upload files in the admin, but cant see any facility for this.

    Will check back once its modernised!

    Hello,

    There is a way to upload hundreds or thousands of files with the Pro version of the DMS plugin. Even so, the free version of the plugin still has a lot of features!

    The site admin can upload files. Almost all of the functions are managed from the DMS page (the front end) and practically nothing is done on the dashboard.

    Admittedly, AJAX is not used as most of the pages are a direct port from the original code that ran on Xoops.

    Please re-consider your low review of two stars as this plugin can do everything you mention and really is only missing AJAX.

    The Pro version of this Plugin is designed to handle millions of documents with a full permissions system. Prior to it’s port to WordPress, this code was handling 250,000+ documents with instant access on very old hardware.
