Quirky Question? ‘siteurl’ and ‘home’ values. wp-admin/options-general.php form

hello,

I’m trying to reinstall a friend’s existing wordpress installation on to a local machine. I think that its all set and ready to work perfectly, except:

the following setting is wrong: ‘siteurl’ and ‘home’ variables of wp-admin/options-general.php (in the dashboard you can find this under Settings > General)

I need to manual configure the settings that I’d normally just input to those input-fields (input 3 and 4 on the page).

Is this a value that exists in the MySQL tables, that I should manually find? Or is this a value sitting in an ASCII preference file somewhere?
