Quintus Archaic background color

  • I am using the Quintus theme, with the archaic background. I plan to use the promotion slider plugin on the home page and want it to blend into the background. Can anyone tell me what the color of archaic is? RBG for would be great, or the 6-digit code and I’ll translate it for Illustrator. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • can you post a link?

quick fix would be to take a screen capture and you can use the eyedropper to get the color in Illustrator or photoshop.

You should check out this Firefox Addon –

Screen shot/eyedropper did the trick. Now I’m working on eliminating the box around my promotion slider slides on my home page (tomgrace.net).

My slides are 600px by 300px, which is what I have the slider set for as well. I’m going to try enlarging the images slightly to see is I can get overlap. The goal is to just have the word and book covers appear and disappear against the archaic background.

If anyone has suggestions on this item, I’d appreciate your help.

Hi there, for help tweaking the CSS of that particular slider, I suggest you try posting in the plugin’s support forum, where the developer will be more likely to see your request:

    Good luck!
