Quicktags dont appear properly

    Actually, you do see the Quicktags.
    What you are asking for is the ugly and useless wysiwyg editor (also know ans RTE, TinyMCE).

    admin > users > Your profile: left bottom corner

    The dashboard maybe just slow. It has to load a lot of things.

    The Use the visual rich editor when writing is checked so id unno about that, and the dashboard is not slow, its a plugin, when i delete the plugin it all works fine. So do you have any other ideas why it might be doing this?

    If you know it’s a plugin that’s doing it, then you should contact the plugin creator and ask them…they should be able to tell you what’s up.

    I’ll do that, but thats only the dashboard, the writing page doesnt change though.

    hmmmmm… i’ve just deleted all the plugins, yet the write page still isnt right, what else can i try…

    So this is a new installation? Have you checked the files you uploaded, and made sure none of the values are “0” bytes in size? Looks to me like part of your admin files didn’t get uploaded correctly.

    ok i’ll checked that, i’m gonna downlaod it all again tomorrow and i’ll see if that does it.

    Ok, i did a total reinstall, installed no themes or plugins, updated to most recent version, and quicktags still dont apperar as images. Any more ideas….
