QuickEdit only works for editor role | WordPress.org

Hi,
The replacement of QuickEdit only works when the user role is Editor or Administrator. Is this a feature? How can I allow other roles/capabilities?

Jose,

I am not aware of any reason why this would require one role or another. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what is happening?

Many thanks for your email and will to help.

The following is a screenshot of the quickpress area in the dashboard for an Author user

Next you may find the same area after changing it to Editor,

Please let me know if you need anything else.
I’d also like to point out that all plugins but WP Edit were disabled during this test.

I am sorry for the delayed response. The next release of WP Editor should have a fix for this.
