Hi @countless
If you’re needing help with removing any elements or if the WooCustomizer plugin is not working 100% with your theme then please get in contact on the WooCustomizer site (at the bottom) and I’ll be happy to help with anything.
As each theme is built differently by their developers, it’s hard to make WooCustomizer work 100% with every theme and that is why I ask users to get in contact for help so I can make it work with each theme.
Only Administrators are able to see the Upgrade link, as administrators can see all options and sections in the Dashboard. And with the upgrade link being in the menu below the WooCustomizer menu, that is added by Freemius, our payment system so apologies if you’re not happy with it being there, I’ll see if I’m able to move it.
Thanks
No actually, your plugin was very useful and worked perfectly at a bunch of little but important tweaks necessary to consider. Was helpful in getting a WooCommerce site showing some of what I wanted, some of these things I’m now working into a child theme. The only problem is the neon green upgrade alert in the main admin menu stuck out like a sore thumb, and really undermined the professionalism of the rest of the plugin. In my opinion, ‘unlockable’ greyed out pro features in your customise panel would be far more persuasive.

I didn’t really want to show the settings users can have but grey them out to try convince users to upgrade π I thought that is a bit sneaky trying to get users to pay, I simply prefer to create and give away a quality free product with optional extras for if users want/need more π
So the 4 star is mostly because of the green upgrade link… I must have overlooked that and presumed it’s fine because of Freemius creating it… I will remove it in the next update. Thanks for the suggestions though.
