    Sorry for being such a newbie in trying to understand.

    I played around with posting and used the quicktag function. In most cases by trial and error I was able to figure out the quicktags. Also there is a link with the quicktags, but it doesn’t explain them all. Next I searched to try to find answers and had no luck. So here I am with my questions.

    1. I couldn’t figure out what these quick tags are used for:

    code

    close tag

    2. Also, I thought I could put a html tag in a post and it will work. I put a <hr> in a post but it did not show up.

    Thanks…there is a lot to learn here. I’m struggling with the layout of the documentation, but I’ll get through it one day at a time.

    1. to display code without being rendered
    for closing tags, e.g. you click <b> and type some text, then clicking close tag will put the closing </b> there.
    2. Using Kubrick or a clone of it? Check your stylesheet for a line
    hr display none
