 * Hey, I’ve just set up Wordfence on my site. How often should I schedule scans
   to keep things running smoothly without overloading the server? I’m just trying
   to find the right balance.

   in touch.
 * On Wordfence Free, scan times are managed automatically by the plugin. A **quick
   scan** with a limited set of checks runs **once a day**, and a **full scan** 
   runs **every 72 hours**.
 * Wordfence does daily checks for WordPress core updates, outdated plugins/themes,
   and any plugins or themes with known vulnerabilities so you get alerted ASAP 
   even if a full scan isn’t due to run that day.
