# Quick Redirects not working

 * I am not able to get quick redirects to work. I checked the summary and it says
   that this redirect is active. Below is are the URLs that I am using. One thing
   to note the old URL is from an old website that was not hosted by WordPress. 
   Any assistance and direction would be greatly appreciated!

 * The Redirection plugin has to be running on the site that is initially catching
   the URL. So it won’t work in this case. Your options are to set up redirects 
   on the old site, which we can’t help ya with, or point that old address to your
   new WordPress site.
 * If it is pointed to the new site, the Redirection plugin will work. ^_^
