# Quick question with static sidebar

 * Okay, I can’t seem to solve this problem.
    I have a really basic blog [http://blog.triphys.com](http://blog.triphys.com)
   and I want to make the sidebar height: 100% so it is as long as the browser. 
   AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, When I scroll down in the blog I want the sidebar to stay
   in place and don’t scroll at all… How can I do this? Can’t find any information
   anywhere.

 * This is not a good practice for a long sidebar because I could only see the whole
   sidebar if I stretch my browser window to the appropriate size.

   That’s what I would like to achieve.
