# Quick question on child theme

 * I already made a child theme. That I understand and have done.
 * My question is when I make CSS styling changes to my styles.css file….
 * Am I supposed to copy *ALL* of the contents from the original styles.css file
   and include that in mine? I would make changes to this instead.
 * OR am I supposed to just add whatever I change into my .css file and leave the
   other file alone?

 * That’s the one, add only the changes you want to the child themes style.css after
   the [@imports](https://wordpress.org/support/users/imports/) line!
