  • Hello everyone and thank you for taking a look here. I am relatively new at using wordpress and figured I might as well jump in with the community as I plan on using this for my website for a long time.

    Anyways here is my question…

I am using wordpress and I also have a phpbb forum that I am using on a subdomain “”

I really do not like the wordpress login for my users and would prefer them to just login to the phpbb user log in and adjust there settings and avatar etc through phpbb. Is there a way to link the phpbb logins to wordpress and completely overrule the wordpress log in?

I dont really want to link them I just want to use the phpbb ones for comments and frontpage log in on wordpress.

p.s. I will make sure to check back frequently so I can help answer any questions you may have. Thanks!

Do you want users to update all of their settings on phpbb, and then have those settings update on their wordpress user accounts? You then also want them to login via phpbb and have wordpress understand that they have logged in on phpbb and allow them to post comments on wordpress?

Yeah exactly, I basically want to take away to wordpress dashboard for my users. Aside from the admin.
