  • What exactly do you have the problem with? Making the posts appear like-so or making them GREEN.

Can we see your work in progress? We’ll be able to tell you what needs doing if you can post your URL.

Ah ok, I need to know how to layout the thumbnail posts on the home page, and the layout of the page from the second link. Although I would like to know how to do it on a normal blog theme.

The website I’m currently using is a gallery theme from smashing magazine which already has thumbnail posts laid out.

    My website:

    Gallery theme:

Each post is currently a box of fixed width and height and probably floated to the left in order to create the grid. You need to make the width of each post (normally .post in style.css) 100%: so that it fills the entire page width instead of just the ~150px fixed-width. Then you need to arrange the image to float to the left and the text to float right with a width of (content width) – (image width). You’ll need to be careful as to not influence how single.php displays.

There are other themes with this type of content display. You can take two themes and merge them if you know ‘sort of’ what you’re doing but lack the knowledge to work through the above.

Okay I kind of see what your trying to say. Which other themes are refering to exactly.
    Thanks for your help.

For eg Fusion in the wp theme directory.

I’m not exactly sure how to make that content display. For instance the small thumbnail posts with description text beside it. But i dont want an exact copy of the link page I mentioned above, I’ve been stuck on this problem for months now. Its just that one solution i really need to kick start the website.

hei I’m new member. Is there some body tell me how I costumize my wp theme blog in with wpthemes wich served in /

    to, hamazh utomo,

to customize your theme, you need to access your back end, that is go to your cpanel. Once your in cpanel, just find the file you are looking for (this does take some time), download and edit it using any proper image editing software. I recommend Photoshop, Fireworks, or anything similar.
