# Quick Page Plugin & target issue

 * I am using the Quick Page Plugin to redirect my wordpress page to a PDF file.
   I want the page to open in a new window (target=”_blank”) however it is not. 
   It redirects fine just not in a new window. I am also using the custom menu from
   wordpress so I have a feeling this is the issue. The plugin: Page Links To is
   having the same issue (no new window).

 * I think I figured out my error. I don’t need a plugin any longer with the new
   feature of the custom menu in WordPress v3. If you go the the Menu area under
   appearance… up at the top there is an option to open the SCREEN OPTIONS. here
   is where you can select TARGET to show up as an option when creating your menu
   settings. So if I use the PDF file in a custom link on the menu, I can select
   BLANK as the target. I can’t believe it was so simple…
