Quick Install Problem

    I followed a youtube video on how to set up a website using hostgater and wordpress. I installed wordpress through quickinstall, as instructed, it also said to wait 2-4 hours before accessing the install, I have waited 5 hours, but when I click on the link to access the wordpress page it just brings up a blank white page. Please help me, is it because I’m in the UK? or is it because my laptop isn’t compatible? Please help me 🙁

    Have contacted your hosting provider about this issue?

    It possible your installation did not complete.
    Try MANUALLY re-uploading all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first!

    Also be sure you clear your previous database before you reinstall again.

    Thanks Tara and Link Design, it was because I am in the UK I had to pay the hosting site by paypal instead of credit card and therefore my site had not yet been activated when I tried to access it, because it took a while to confirm the payment, but thank you and sorry for wasting your time.
