Quick — I hope EASY problem. Please Help!

  • Hi,

    I am having a small problem. I was told to change my function.php theme file (my theme is graphene) to customize the registration email. I applied a filter and then erased it. This seemed to mess up my code. I made sure to use the same graphene download function.php file to replace the messed up code. I have made sure not to put spaces before or after the closing tags. I am an intermediate wordpress user and would love as simple an instruction as you can give. Thanks in advance! 🙂
    Here is my error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘/’ in /home/isparkit/public_html/IBYS/wp-content/themes/graphene/functions.php on line 3

    Hope to hear from you soon!

    @rachelbaker

    Can you please paste the code from the current functions.php to pastebin and supply the link here?

    Simply, check line 3 in your functions.php for an errand /

    Yes! I found that it changed in the WordPress editor but not the file that was hosted.

    Thanks so much!
    Hope you have a great day!
    🙂
