    Hi all.

I just need a litle help on understanding the basics for the language configuration.

I am building an online store for the company where I work for, I’ve used the Woocommerce plugin and I’ve found about the YITH Woocommerce Compare plugin recently and decided to try it. I’m using the free version for now and noticed that there’s no language support for Portuguese from Portugal, only for Brazilian Portuguese (that it’s very similar but has some minor but very important differences). I can configure the plugin options for the compare butons but the table and widget still appear with several english words.

I’ve been researching how to enable the right configuration file but I want to be sure first. There are two files with the translations with the *.mo and *.po extensions and the one that is active by default is the *.pot extension one?

I just need to know if I can edit the *PT_BR.po file with Notepad ++ (for instance) and create a new *.po file for Portuguese language (that would be *PT_PT.po) and then rename it to the *.pot extension file so it stays active by default?

I would apreciate some help, I want to know if this solutions works before going to the premium solution.

I have some issues with the buttons placement also but I’ll leave it for another ocasion.

    Thanks in advance.
